CLIENTS
For over 31 years, LTC has provided the banking industry with the necessary tools to ensure accuracy and maximize their research needs.
As a former Senior Vice President at Comerica Bank and head of their branch location planning for over ten years, I was a devoted user of the data and services of Location Targeting Consultants(LTC). During my time at Comerica, we had between 300 and 370 bank branches in five states (AZ, CA, FL, MI and TX) and we subscribed to LTC in all markets. The accuracy and thoroughness of their information was vital to our branch planning activities. It would be impossible to calculate the amount of money they saved us by putting detailed competitive information at our fingertips whenever decisions needed to be made regarding branch closures, consolidations, relocations and de novo options. However, I never had any problems being able to cost justify our LTC costs when preparing my annual departmental budget.
However, I need to stress that it wasn’t just the high quality data they provided that I valued as a client. It was also the responsiveness of the LTC customer support team to any question that might come up about an area we were investigating or helping us to find an analogous situation we could review for scenario comparisons. In short, they not only provided the data, they KNEW the data and how best to use it to guide decisions. Now that I have my own consulting firm, I continue to consult with LTC on the bank client projects I have and have no hesitation in recommending them to my clients whenever there is an opportunity to do so.
I have now been involved with bank branch location planning for over 30 years and during all that time, I have never encountered another firm that comes close to providing the depth and breadth of competitive branch data that LTC does. I highly recommend LTC data and its services to any bank that has a network of branches to maintain, to optimize their productivity and to keep competitively positioned.
Sincerely,
Ken Smith
